A few days after dealing with the Lord of Spiders, rumors spread that the king's killer had been named. The Blackguard Operatives were called upon to apprehend a woman named Terra Rabos, a local painter, who might just be the one who assassinated King Gwydion Camlach.
After a frustrating chase across the rooftops of the Midland District, the captured painter collapsed in tears, swearing her innocence. The heroes decided to hide her at Esmerelda's place. Still unsure of who to trust, they reported to a disappointed Field Marshal Carlaena Croft that Terra had escaped them.
- "So we have been commissioned as Black Guard Ops to seek out the accused assassin, a painter named Terra Rabos... yeah, you heard that correctly... a painter. You've got to wonder how one goes from artist to assassin. Nonetheless we left for the Midland Slums to find her. I've frequented the slums but Llyrrian has spent quality time down there on charity runs within the community. It seems her good works paid off and we were informed Terra was there. Unfortunately, nabbing her would be a challenge. She slipped away just prior to our arrival and led us on a sketchy rooftop chase. Luckily we caught her before she could escape. In our interrogation, Terra convinced us of her innocence and pled for help. We managed to sneak her over to the deceased fortune teller's place where she'd be safe until we figure out what to do from here. I found it difficult to deceive Croft but fear it would have ultimately led to Terra's unwarranted execution."
