In her youth, Tyrea was comfortable with the isolated nature of the Edan'Dagnir community, but as she entered adulthood, she began to suffer from terrible wanderlust. Both becoming a ranger, and joining the Striders of Elishar gave her an excuse to venture outside her homeland.

The Striders of Elishar sent four members into Cauldera to rescue the missing orphans. Each member gathered leads in their own way and Tyrea was tasked to watch the Keepers of the Cauldron to see if their search bore any fruit. After the death of Sapphira Runehold, Tyrea realized the Keepers were getting close and introduced herself. She helped recover the missing children and then decided to stick around. Now a Keeper, she helped end the goblin menace, helped locate the missing Wands of Control Water to save the city during flood season and rescued Zenith Splintershield from the Kuo-Toa. Tyrea helped locate the missing Paladin, Alek Tercival, which halted an attack on the Town of Redgorge and traveled to the Abyss, dealt the killing blow to Kaurophon, the betrayer, retaking the Plane of Occipitus.

Tyrea is a deft skirmisher, either in melee or at range, capable of skillfully dancing in and out of battle. She however, excels at overcoming hindrances of all types, from unlocking doors and disarming traps to outwitting magical hazards and finding things long-hidden.

One of Tyrea's ancestors was a werewolf. She feels a mystic bond with wolves and a connection with all animals. Her years of seclusion and lonely weeks on the road has made her a bit unrefined in social situations.
